Dear Friend, When you log-in to your affiliate account here, then you will notice that each product has assigned media for it. On this web page, I am going to quickly go over the best way to use each type: 1. Articles. These are put under the general media category of "Ads." You can put articles on your web pages, blogs or send them to your newsletter subscribers and customers. You get credit from these articles from the affiliate links placed throughout the article. We prefer you use the article as is, but if you want to take out the links in the article and just leave your affiliate link in the resource box, that is fine. Just be sure to not change any of the content. If you need a solution to send email, one of the best ones is http://www.aweber.com/. This solution allows you to build lists of newsletter subscribers and then email them with a few clicks of a button. If you already use a service similar, to Aweber, consider putting one of the articles or email ads in your autoresponder series to generate extra revenue. Additionally, you can also sign-up for a free blog at: http://www.Blogger.com or http://www.wordpress.com. You also might use your MySpace blog. Then, just post the articles we provide you with there. You can then refer your website visitors or customers to your blog. 2. Emails. These are put under the media category of "Email." Each product currently has a short and long email. The benefit of the short email is that you may have better luck getting it through email filters. In order to combat spam, many email providers now block a lot of legitimate email based on certain keyword "triggers." For instance, if your email says "Click here to orders your now," then email filters may be more likely to mark your email as spam. Short emails are less likely to have words that cause email filters to block it. However, if you have a small list of subscribers or are just sending an email to a friend, then the long email is likely better. To send email you can use a solution like: http://www.aweber.com/. With this tool, you can set-up a form on your website to collect names and email addresses. If you're not already building a list of subscribers, then a solution like this is HIGHLY recommended. The reason is because when you have built a relationship with 500, 1000, or even 10,000+ people through email, then when you have a product recommendation, you can quickly rake-in hundreds or thousands of dollars with a few clicks of your mouse. All it takes is an email your list of subscribers to rake-in a nice chunk of change. Adding a web form using a solution like aweber.com to your MySpace page is also strongly recommended. You just tell your visitors something like, "Sign-up to get FREE e-tips on marketing your music" and then have them enter their names and email address into your form. Be sure to follow-up with articles as well as emails to help close the sale. Your goal should be to build a relationship with the prospect and help them succeed... NOT just to make a quick buck. 3. Pre-written reviews. These are put under the general media category of "Ads." Each product has a long and short review. You can post these onto your website, blog, or in your new newsletter as is. But, a much more effective use is to use them as a starting point to express what you really appreciate about the products. The most effective ad you can write is usually going to be a personal endorsement of the product or service. This is because if you've built a relationship with your website visitors or customers, then they're much more likely to listen to a personal recommendation than an ad. Inside your recommendation, you want to talk about what you really appreciate about the product and what the reader has to gain by getting it. You can also send paid for website traffic to your endorsement page to increase your return on investment. This is highly recommended if you do pay-per-click advertising. 4. Links. These are put under the media category of "Text Links." You can put these links on your website or use them as a signature in your email or music forum postings. A signature is simply where you put your business information after your name. Many forums allow you to input a signature under your user settings. You can also use these links for ideas to get you started in creating any other short ads you need. A note about text links is that they often result in higher sales than graphic ads. This is because they have more text to "qualify" visitors before they click on them. This means more visitors that are likely to buy the product click on them. Often graphical ads catch a lot of attention, but too many people with no interest in the product click on them. The result is reduced sale conversion rates. This is often, but not always the case. 5. Banners. These are put under the media category of "Banners." The advantage of banners is that they often generate a lot of clicks. You can integrate them throughout your website. The more places and the more visible location you put them, the better results you're going to get. 6. Keywords. These are put under the general media category of "Ads." When it comes to online marketing, keywords are essential. Directories and search engines use them as a way for people to find you. You should think of these keywords as the starting point for your advertising. The methods where you might need them, include Pay-Per-Click advertising, search engine optimization, and submitting to any kind of directory. You should also note that each of the keywords lists have [brackets] and "quotes" around each of the keywords. This is for use in the Pay-Per-Click search engine Google AdWords. We'll be talking more about all of these advertising methods in the days to come. 7. Pay-Per-Click ads (For Google, MSN, AdWords) These are pre-written ads for the Pay-Per-Click search engines: There are many more Pay-Per-Click search engines, but these are the 3 largest. Google AdWords is probably the easiest to start with. 8. More are coming!
